17 Cities Show Improvement for Sellers - Paradise Valley Rises Fastest
The latest Cromford® Market Index (CMI) values for single-family markets in the 17 largest cities are in, and it's good news for sellers. For the third consecutive week, all 17 cities have shown improvements for sellers over the past month. On average, the CMI has gone up by 14.3% in the last month, with the pace of improvement accelerating from 11.4% the previous week. Demand is rising while supply continues to fall, which is driving this improvement.
Among the cities, Paradise Valley is rising the fastest, followed by Tempe and Glendale, all showing promising trends. However, Surprise, Scottsdale, and Chandler are showing slower improvements. In terms of market type, 14 cities are in seller's markets, one is balanced, and two are in buyer's markets.
Overall, this is great news for sellers looking to make a move in the real estate market. However, it's essential to keep an eye on trends in your local market before making any decisions.
